McAllen Convention Center commissioned Triggers Media to create awareness for the 2018 International Car Fest, an annual South Texas event.
The McAllen Convention Center is the annual host of the International Carfest, with the 2018 event scheduled to be the largest yet. MCC reached out to the Triggers media team to generate awareness through a comprehensive Facebook ad strategy.
Triggers developed a game plan with the goal of creating awareness and engagement among South Texas residents. This strategy included testing and optimizing a variety of ad sets to retarget audiences within the days leading up to the event. Our video production team utilized footage from the previous year’s event, while our team of ad strategists implemented a ManyChat quiz in which visitors were asked to identify famous pop-culture cars with the opportunity to receive a coupon for entrance to the event.
The aforementioned Facebook ad campaign resulted in 1,056 Facebook likes, with viewers spending more than a total of 7.5 days watching the video. A total of 33,221 were engaged through the campaign, which reached a total of 133,191 Facebook users. With the use of Many Chat, McAllen Convention Center gained more than 565 new Facebook Messenger Subscribers.
